Today Balsham (Buildings) Ltd are one
of the Eastern Regions leading structural steelwork &
cladding contractors. Our business encompasses two divisions.
Our Design & Build
Division provides a comprehensive service to developers,
main contractors and agriculturists. The division can offer
three product lines that may be considered as either discrete
or co-ordinated packages:

Turnkey
Building Provision:
Balsham are able to
provide a package solution encompassing the design,
planning and management of a complete building installation.
This service can include a Management Contracting service
to co-ordinate and manage the providers of other trades.

Structural
Steelwork:
Should the customer
wish, Balsham can act as a separate supplier and
erector of steelwork only, allowing the envelope
construction and contract management to be undertaken
by others.

Cladding
:
Similarly, we
can offer a cladding only package allowing the steel
frame construction and contract management to be supplied
by others.
Our Repairs
Maintenance and Improvements Division (RMI) also
offers three product lines. As flexibility is a key
component of the Balsham ethos, each product line can
be treated as a separate service or can be combined
with other service provisions.

Major
Refurbishment :
Our service concentrates
on the refurbishment of larger scale (+1000 m2) cladding
envelope and structural steel contracts. This service
extends from external corporate re-branding through
to re-sheeting and change of use projects.

Small
Works :
Our small works
division can provide a minor repairs and re-sheeting
service encompassing damage repair, gutter refurbishment,
replacement roof lights and external envelope cleaning.
Our small works department will also be pleased to undertake
any minor fabrication and erection works, such as mezzanine
flooring, staircases and the like.

Special
Projects :
Balsham (Buildings)
Ltd are approved suppliers of the Ward 'Topdek',
an insulated membrane roof panel system that allows
a long life alternative to traditional flat roof
construction.
Balsham are also approved installers
of the ' Euroseam ' standing seam aluminium system
for a variety of applications.
